Andreas Neufeld, President and Managing Director of GRUPO YAGUARETE
“We are incredibly proud to be recognized as the Top of Mind brand in the “Cartones” category for the second year in a row. This milestone reflects our focus on quality, service, and maintaining close relationships with our customers. None of this would be possible without our team, whose daily dedication makes this success possible.”
Integrated Value Creation in Paraguay
The roots of today’s GRUPO YAGUARETE date back to 1978, when Yaguarete Cartones was founded. Today, the group, which is part of the WEIG GROUP, brings together specialized operations in recycling, paper and board production, packaging manufacturing and logistics. Together, they cover a large part of the value chain – from the collection and processing of recovered paper to the delivery of finished packaging.
GRUPO YAGUARETE includes:
- Yaguarete Reciclaje: Collection, sorting and processing of recovered paper and board
- Yaguarete Papeles: Production of paper and board from recycled raw materials
- Yaguarete Cartones: Development and production of corrugated board sheets and fiber-based packaging
- Yaguarete Logística: Transportation and delivery of raw materials and products

As with the WEIG GROUP in Germany, the individual operations are closely interconnected. In this way, GRUPO YAGUARETE combines industrial capabilities with the aim of keeping fiber-based resources in circulation.
