More than 100 Tons of Paper Exported to Brazil Through Yaguarete’s Logistics Service

The Logistics Business Unit of Yaguarete Group has successfully completed its first shipment to a regional client using its own fleet, delivering over 100 tons of paper to Brazil this March via Yaguarete Logística.

Yaguarete Papeles will export more than 100 tons through the Group’s logistics services. Four trucks from the Group’s fleet are undertaking their first journey to Brazil.

This week, the Yaguarete Group achieved its first shipment to Brazil through its own logistics operation. Yaguarete Logística, operational since 2017 to support all the business units of the Group, obtained authorization as an international logistics operator after a year of rigorous efforts. It is now qualified to operate in six countries across the region: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.

Andreas Neufeld, General Manager of Yaguarete Group, celebrated this new milestone, emphasizing the company's commitment to continued growth and job creation to support national development.

"With this, we take another step forward in expanding Yaguarete Logística and further enhance our circular economy approach. These trucks are planned to return loaded with raw materials for box manufacturing, allowing us to offer more client-focused services and better meet our customers' specific demands for timing, tracking, and service quality—becoming a true ally in jointly delivering solutions," Neufeld stated.

Commercial Manager Daniel Ríos acknowledged the dedication of the entire team behind this milestone. He highlighted the complexity involved in establishing new logistics routes, particularly international ones, which require meeting additional standards and requirements. Furthermore, Ríos underscored the strategic planning needed to ensure client satisfaction and the profitability of services.

"This is just the first of many trips planned to Brazil, with intentions to expand into additional countries. Such operations allow us to better understand the Group's logistical behaviors and continuously enhance our services. We aim to reach new markets with clear advantages for our clients, the company, and the environment, as increased control over our energy consumption and efficiency will be possible through an innovative fleet meeting increasingly rigorous international standards," Ríos explained.

The four Yaguarete Logística trucks, driven by Paraguayan drivers, will transport over 100 tons of paper to São Paulo, covering approximately 1,500 kilometers, and are scheduled to arrive mid-month. The paper will be used by Placo in the manufacturing of gypsum boards. Placo was Yaguarete Papeles' first customer for Plastic Board Liner (PBL – paper for gypsum boards) back in 2011.

Upon their return, the trucks will carry raw materials for box production at Yaguarete Cartones, fully optimizing their journey.
